[27] Service Record of Charles: Charles Hugo Richards entered service in
1940 as a Flying Cadet, commissioned 2nd Lt. 25 April, 1941. 1941-43
flight Instructor at Selm, Dothan, Alabama. Became Capt. 1943
assigned to Air Transport Command, Nashville, Tenn., Homestead, Fla,
and to Reno, Nevada. 1945 to China-Murma-India theatre and remained
there until the end of the war. 1946 returned to States and
discharged a Major.
